  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup half & half
  • 1 tablespoon black tea loose leaf
  • ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder
  • pinch salt
  • 10 tea biscuits or graham crackers

  • Heat half & half, loose leaf tea and cardamom in a small saucepan. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, strain the tea from the half & half and set aside the half and half to cool completely.
  • Crush the tea biscuits into crumbs and set aside.
  • Whip the heavy whipping cream with a mixer on medium-high speed until firm peaks form, about 2 minutes. Add vanilla extract and salt and whip again for about 20 seconds to incorporate.
  • Add the condensed milk and tea-steeped half & half. Beat with the electric mixer for another 1 to 2 minutes until combined. Use a rubber spatula to fold in the tea biscuit crumbs stirring until combined.
  • Pour into a 9-by-5-by-3-inch loaf pan, or any 6 cup freeze-able container and freeze for about 5 hours.
  • Serve with additional cookie crumbs if desired!
